Humphrey Coliseum, nicknamed The Hump, first opened in December 1975. One of the most difficult venues for opposing teams, this 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena, is the largest in Mississippi and has played host to some of the most storied programs in the country. MSU's basketball program came into existence in the 1908-1909 season and boasts a proud history, including numerous SEC championships, SEC tournament championships and NCAA tournament appearances.
